Welcome to Giveaway Day! I'm so pleased you stopped by A Quilter's Table - thank you! We're in for a fun and busy week in quilt-blog land!

The giveaway I have to offer includes a book, Playful Patchwork: Happy, Colorful, and Irresistible Ideas and Instruction for Modern Piecework, Applique, and Quilting, by Suzuko Koseki and several charm packs from a variety of fabric eras.

  4. My proudest moment was when three of us got together for a workshop to make your triple zipper pouch.
    My two friends both suffer from zipper phobia so it was great to be able to show them, with the help of your tutorial, that zippers are not scary but fun.

  14. My proudest moment was probably when I faced one of my greatest fears and at the same time reached one of my biggest goals and made my first FMQ feathers! And I was actually so proud and happy with the outcome!

    My proudest moment...when I finally finished all 5 of the twin size quilts I made for my grand kids for Christmas gifts this year...each on specifically "about" that child! TON of work, but they will love it!

  113. I don't really have a proud sewing moment this year. It has been a really tough year for me and I have barely kept my head above water. I think I am finally coming out of the tunnel. However, last year I made my daughter in love a beautiful purse that people thought was a Vera and I made my daughter a beautiful pieced tote with a matching purse and accessories. I hope to get back to that kind of thing this coming year.

  126. My proudest moment this year was finally getting the 4 block sections to the Anna Maria Horner Love Emblem quilt I am working on to lie flat and fit together. It's the first time I've made a quilt using templates, and at 225% at that, so no minor amount of tears were involved. I finally conquered by ironing every block onto freezer paper to keep them flat and stable, trimming them uniform, and sewing them together with the freezer paper still on. I'm even adding the borders while the freezer paper is on, just in case. Good thing the quilt is for someone I love very much ;)

  132. I worked very hard in the early fall and gave away three couch quilts and two baby quilt wraps that I made all on one day. It will be a long time before I give away so many quilts at one.

I am so loving the process of learning through practice and count my mistakes as valuable learning curves. Yay!!   156. That's nice! My proudest crafty moment was making boutonnieres and wrist corsages for my best friend's wedding party -- using dried hops, origami and other good stuff! A little bit of an engineering puzzle at first, but they came out great!

  163. I was very proud of myself for making a crib bumper for my son's nursery. I didn't really know what I was doing, but I think it turned out really cute.

  166. My proudest moment was when I finally claimed the spare bedroom as my sewing room. I moved everything out, painted and moved the sewing machine from the dining room into my own sewing room.
