Our quilting g...Improv is my favorite way to piece. Our quilting group got together one Saturday to do some improv piecing. No rules, no patterns, just a lot of fun. We all brought a sack of scraps, which we emptied onto the table. We started by grabbing two pieces, sewing, cutting, returning what we didn't use, grab another piece, and, sew. It was a blast. It was interesting watching the new bee's at first, but, by the time we finished, they were in love with the process of improv. No worries here going off the grid or outside the lines. However, I have learned that other people may be a bit more hesitant. I really appreciate your tips that will give me a place to start. I really enjoy the two blocks you made. First, I love the saturated color of each one.
