An apron. Sadly I didn't stick with the sewing part but I did stay in 4-H for years. Thankfully I came back to sewing later in high school and have stayed with it on and off ever since. I did make a gingham apron with scratch embroidery when I was about 12 or 13! You were a little more advanced than me....!😆Susanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00902546150683095705noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5703345404636516654.post-58999531707079959842020-12-15T15:06:42.605-08:002020-12-15T15:06:42.605-08:00Very cute fabric! This was Grade 7 - no instructions - we had to ask the teacher each step of the way, as we sewed. It honestly made no sense in my head along the way, or at the end, but I do have the apron to this day :). Who would have thought, that someday, I would sew, just for the fun of it!! My apron, made in 4-H, was a solid pastel yellow with black and white checked trim... and a casing top with a fabric drawstring. I don't remember ever wearing it. No doubt you wore yours, as you're a good cook! I used that bag until it fell apart after college. I'm glad you still have your first make!Yvonne from Quilting Jetgirlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15705160384198590025noreply@blogger.com
