After all the recent posts I actually bought the book - it is a good one! I'm thinking you keep on top of your scrap mountain and that's why your minimal sorting works out. Unforrtunately I seem to have lots more scraps than you do so I need to sort mine into hot and cold colours and neutral light and dark! Thanks for linking up to #scraptastictuesday! In between projects, I open the drawer and cut things in to usable sizes using Bonnie Hunter's scrap saver system, then put the scraps in plastic bags. This is becoming cumbersome, so am planning to start using the scraps to make the scrap baskets Amanda Jean featured in her first book. They will look so cute on my shelves and sooooo practical too.
