Odds & Ends

~ Do you know about Design Seeds? It is a fun site that posts several beautiful photos each day, along with a color palette. Talk about inpiring! I enjoy looking at them on facebook. They are just snapshots of lovliness . . . some of my favorites lately are glowing leaf, cabbage hues, and flora hues . . .

~ Hubby thought I was kidding when I told him I'd joined A Little Fabric, A Little Chocolate {Swap!}. Seriously, it does exist, and I have a partner, who I am excited to swap with. Who knew?! Funny note - out of the 40+ people participating, I was partnered with someone who lives about 15 minutes away from me! Small world. Hi Nicole!

~ One thing about quilting, at least for me - I find myself working along on several projects at once, and in the middle of them all, I find another quilt to put on my list! That happens over and over again! I saw the latest this week on Moda Bake Shop. It's called Crossroads Quilt, and was created by Tacha from Fat Quarterly.

~ FQS Bella Parade continues! Are you following along on 13 Woodhouse Road? It's been fun to see a new color every day and what solids and prints other quilters would use with them.

~ Just a reminder that the Bloggers' Quilt Festival starts next week! I'm working on getting a quilt completed in time!

~ And if you like to participate in Friday Night Sew-In, it's set for May 20 this month.

~ Lastly, here's a glance at my Comic Strip Quilt blocks and their placement. Now to sew them together and do the borders on this fun little quilt!

Hope you all have a great day!
