Valentine's Day or birthday - either is great cause for celebration around the table. I expect a more-than-usual number of you might be posting sweet treats tomorrow, or Valentine's Day projects. Link up on tomorrow's Tuesday at the Table post and you'll have a chance to win a $20 gift certificate to use at Pink Chalk Fabrics. Feel free to link a post sharing a recipe, a Valentine-y quilt project, or a story from around your table. If you've done such a post recently, link that up. And non-bloggers, feel free to link up a flickr photo. I'll choose a random winner on Wednesday. This'll be a short-notice, short-run giveaway in honor of love shared at the table.

What Day Is It?
In 1986, everything changed. Before, as February 14 approached, the obvious thought was, "Valentine's Day!" But over the last 26 years, first and foremost, it has been son's birthday. Oftentimes, the celebrations got combined, but other times Valentine's Day got eclipsed totally by the more important family occasion. Undeniably, son is worth celebrating!
