Prep Party :: November

It was perfect timing today to join in with Allegory's Prep Party over at {sew} Allegorical. Here's what I got prepped:

Blocks for Hurricane Sandy Help - This effort is sponsored by Jennifer of knotted thread, who has family and friends living in New Jersey. I signed up for 6 black/gray blocks and 2 scrappy and hope to get these mailed off by week's end.

UR Priceless blog hop - I've got one little frame purse made, and cut out another today. My day on the hop is this Thursday, the 8th.

Charity block - I need to make a scrappy block at least 10" square. I decided to make a supersized x and + block.

Christmas lap quilt - I have the center panel of this quilt done. Now I need to made 20 strip blocks for the top and bottom. Since each block takes 7-8 WOF strips, I cut 54 and will see how it goes. (I get 3 blocks from each WOF strip set.)

That may not look like much, but it all took me the afternoon. I sure feel better about some of my upcoming projects!

Linking up with the November Prep Party.
