Anyway, hubby responded to the email asking when we could pick it up, and got a swift answer, "at the release party." Release party? Ok, now we're talking. So we headed out there on the specified date, and lo and behold, there was a food truck parked outside the wine warehouse, just for us - well, and the rest of the party.
Fusion on the Run we found out, specializes in tacos. And I mean TACOS - Kalua pork, short rib, and adobo chicken. Really tasty tacos in fact, that we ate standing using wine barrels as tables. Talk about atmosphere!
And then, of course, there was the wine - a few to taste, and the reason we had made the trek out - some to take home. Another fun night on the town. smile
My kind of party!
ReplyDeleteWhat a perfect surprise day!
ReplyDeleteThatsounds like a fun event. Glad you had a wonderful time.
ReplyDeleteSounds like fun! I am a teetotaler myself, but the tacos look delicious!
ReplyDeleteAwesome looking tacos. Mmmmmm.
ReplyDeleteI've got to do the food truck thing one of these days...
ReplyDeleteThat looks like so much fun!
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like so much fun! I meant to comment on your last food truck post, but don't think I did. Food trucks are HUGE right now in Lafayette. Think standing in line for an hour to order. I do want to try some of them, but I don't know if I can stand in line that long!
ReplyDeleteI was at the same release party! Came home with a few too many bottles of Purple Haze :)
ReplyDeleteDo they do weddings in Orange County?
