The first of the month always holds an element of
incredulity. As in, wow, the months are sure flying by! But at the same time, there is usually a great deal of satisfaction with what's been accomplished, and that's certainly true this month. For one, May's bee blocks are in the mosaic below, but surprisingly, so are most of June's! Just kind of how it worked out, and I'll share a bit more about that after I get the last bee taken care of. And speaking of bees, love that little paper-pieced block (pattern by badskirt) - will have to find a special project to use that in!

As for the other projects, there were quite a few littles, including a new-to-me fabric (
oilcloth) and
a new tutorial (for those typewriter & text mouse pads). Then there was an
improv quilt that, in spite of stretching me pretty good, turned out cool enough.

ReplyDeleteEvery one of your blocks is wonderful. Great selections of color combinations. You have an eye for doing that successfully! Sure know what you mean about that to-do list. I made plans to quilt all day today, and ended up working entirely on modern quilt guild chapter meeting stuff. Bylaws... argh. But our meeting is Monday evening, and that's something fun to look forward to. We're having a "Modern Apron Runway"!
