I need to have my eyes checked. Seriously. So short story, I had a little trouble seeing the minute detail of this month's block block-of-the-month for Seattle MQG - a loop involving both some serious curves as well as a deep “v” in the loop itself.
So a few tiny stitches may be visible, but I'm ok with that because everything appears secure and basically as it should be.
So far, so good, and now to wait patiently for next month....
I'm loving how these are coming together. I feel like this month's block leaves a lot to the imagination - is it the end of an old key inserted into a lock or zoomed in on the eye of a needle? I have been thinking about my vision a lot lately as well and wondering if glasses are not far off in my future (I had LASIK 8 years ago and am probably flirting with the need for them again - it was a good run!).
ReplyDeleteLooks great from here ! All these blocks are very original !
ReplyDeleteWould love to see the backside of this one!
ReplyDeleteI think this one is so cool.
ReplyDeleteGreat block for this month Debbie! I love the way this is taking shape and the fabrics you've chosen. I've had glasses for close work for the last couple of years and while I only use them to read fine print I wear them all the time while I'm sewing. It makes a big difference.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fascinating series of blocks you have happening here Debbie!
ReplyDeleteThat's a challenging block! Looks good.
ReplyDeleteAre these needle-turn appliqué? Hard t tell in the pics - love them all!
