Though all the blocks for this year's Seattle MQG BOM have been presented, our hostess Jonna/@bespokeoutlaw will yet be presenting some ideas for quilting. Basically, our assignment this month was to sew our quilt top together. Jonna offered some suggestions for filling in the couple of blank half-blocks, but I kind of liked the openness they offered and just let them be.
Debbie this quilt is so cool. It is like hieroglyphics. To me it reads: The key to a full life (sun/world) is to understand the waxing and waning (crescent moons) of time here on earth and to glean from (books) knowledge to maintain your health(food pyramid) and drink (bottles) the fruits of nature (land, mountain and space). The circle of life! AM I the only one that sees that? haha
ReplyDeleteit's fabulous! borders or not it will be great. can't wait to see it finished (and hopefully see some of the others too?)
ReplyDeleteGreat appliqué work.
ReplyDeleteI think Kris's interpretation of this quilt is spot on!
Very interesting blocks and fabric choice ! I can't wait to see how you will finish it.
ReplyDeleteI thought the dark gray was a border at first. I think a wide border would work well.
