W.i.P. Wednesday

It's W.i.P. Wednesday!

Ongoing projects
I have one more block to do in the Summer Sampler Series Quilt Along. #11 gave me more trouble than it should have, so I took a little break and will be back to do #12 soon. I'm still considering options on how to finish this quilt top.

I finally started the Afternoon Snack table runner for my mom. She picked out the pattern and fabric when we were vacationing this spring. It's a 'quilt as you go' pattern, and of course, we wanted to revise it. Not my best skill these days, but the top is now pieced. Now for some 'orange peel' action on the main blocks, and it will be ready to bind.
Upcoming projects
*Cappuccino Bali Pop "Light & Shadow".
* For the Love of Solids project.
* 4x5 modern Quilt Bee blocks.
* Stash quilt - zig zag quilt
* Quilts for our siblings.

On hold for a while
Block-a-palooza quilt along needs basted and quilted.

Do be sure and spend some time over at Freshly Pieced to see some amazing w.i.p.s. It's always good fun!

  8. Love how you referred to it as "orange peel" that is too funny. I'm working on a cathedral windows block right now, and am knee deep in orange peeling also!
