Yes, today's the day we've been waiting for!
Lindsey and I are beyond excited to have the
Patchwork, Please sew along finally starting up! Hop on over to
Lindsey's for the introduction to today's blogger, prize info, and the link up for the week!
You will have from today through Sunday, June 9 at 11:59 pm EST to complete and add your project for a chance to win this week's prizes. You are only eligible to win the weekly prizes if you submit during this time frame. BUT, know that you can link up at ANY time when you aren't able to sew with the schedule. We would all love to see your finished projects whenever you’re able to complete them! The giveaways are just a bonus.
Just a reminder that besides linking up, you'll also be adding your projects to the flickr group and joining in the community there throughout the sew along. Feel free to join in in other ways too - on
Pinterest,
facebook,
Threadbias, and Instagram (hastag: patchworkplease)! Plus you won't want to miss seeing all the other projects!
Ok, enough from me! Once you check in with Lindsey, go see Penny from Sew Take a Hike! She's sharing her take on this week's project, the Bell Pepper Coasters! Have a fun Zakka week!
FUN!
ReplyDeleteIf I am in the flicker group I'm "linked up" correct? I don't know what "linking up" actually means??
ReplyDeleteMy fabric is picked and ready for the sewing machine!
ReplyDeleteyay, how totally fun. I'm so excited to see all these wonderful projects being made.
ReplyDeleteIn response to georgiakd (sorry, couldn't find an email for you!)...
ReplyDelete"linking up" is different than being a member of the flickr group. You want to do both. Joining the flickr group lets you post your pictures there - which is great! "Linking up" means going to the blogger intro post each week - for this week it is: http://lrstitched.com/2013/06/03/zakka-2-0-week-1-bell-pepper-coasters/. Scroll to the bottom & you'll see a little blue guy and 'Click to view/add' - that's how you link up. It'll ask for your name, email, and where your pic is stored - using the one from flick is just fine. To do that, go to the photo in flick, then copy the URL, then go back and paste it in as you "link up." Try it and see how it goes....
Love this!!! Can't wait to see all the projects.
