And while we're on quilt shows and such, my fellow SMQG member, Season Evans, is celebrating the opening of her new website, S.D.Evans quilts. So lovely - do take a look! Another guild member, Blair Stocker, interviewed Season {here}. I find it so interesting to hear about the process and journey of other quilters.
Any one else join the Mini Quilt Swap?
I'm still mulling over ideas for my partner, but did manage to make an inspiration mosaic - just several projects I really like.
I get a little short of breath just thinking about it, but this is the last week of the Patchwork, Please sew along. I couldn't resist making a mosaic of the projects I've made. If you have the book and have made nothing else, find time this week for the sweet Prettified Pincushion and link it up!

Have you heard that my Patchwork, Please cohost, Lindsey, has opened a new shop selling leather? I love the pouches and bags I've seen with leather accents, and one of these days I'm going to give it a try!
I just happened across the dates for this fall's Blogger's Quilt Festival! If you don't know about it, click the link - it's a super fun event and you'll want to join in for sure!
Believe it or not, I still have Modern Maples on my mind. Here's one of my favorites from this week - from Gina/Happy Go Lizzie. Folks are still gathering in the Falling for Modern Maples flickr group, so if you've got an inkling to make one for yourself, feel free to join us!
Linking up with Really Random Thursday.
Gotta love your mosaics... so full of inspiration and color :) Except now I want to skip all the things I ought to do and go home and do things that aren't really strictly necessary.
ReplyDeleteI joined the swap, too. I need to head over there and make a mosaic.
ReplyDeleteOh so much going on! I love seeing all the Patchwork Project together and I totally agree with you about sewing with leather accents!
ReplyDeleteI'm a bit breathless just reading this! What beautiful projects you keep coming up with.
ReplyDeleteWhew, just got caught up on the last week - great job on all the blocks, and congrats on the winning/touring quilt!
ReplyDeleteI will be in Paducah so I will watch for it and snap a picture for you!
ReplyDeleteI'm in the mini swap too! But I have to wait on that to finish a couple other things. I got to take Lindsays Sewing Summit class for sewing with leather and I loved it! It was so encouraging and inspiring.
