
Ok, so if that's an official(ish) definition, my one word description is, "Yum."
And I have made them on numerous occasions usually the original recipe, but also those mint and mocha flavored, and even peanut butter.
Well, it's my coworker's birthday today, and she looooves Nanaimo Bars. But this year, I went out on a limb and tried another twist . . .

And that would be Nanaimo Bar Cheesecake. Thanks to Jo and Sue who shared the recipe on their blog, and also included the recipe for the original bars. I did make one change to my cheesecake - using the bar portion of the recipe for the cheesecake base, because really, it's that graham + coconut + cocoa base that makes a Nanaimo Bar a Nanaimo Bar for me.
Meanwhile, it IS fall, and I'm really hoping you have some fall recipes to share and of course some fall projects. Here's a little one I pulled out last night for the new season.
