Any of you following along regularly know full well that there was a wedding in our family last week. Four days post-ceremony, I'm still on a high of sorts. Our week with family, spending time with new family, having friends join us, and most of all, celebrating the marriage of our son and daughter-in-law . . . well let's just say it was as lovely as we could have all hoped. And then some.
Yes, we got the idea on Pinterest . . .
And grandgirl did perfectly in her role as flowergirl. We waited with bated breath and there she was just walking down the aisle all by herself, cute as could be, dropping ONE petal at a time as she walked. Apparently daughter dear had told grandgirl that she needed to spread the petals so auntie could walk on them, and she must have taken that to heart. When she got to the front of the aisle and realized her basket was still full of flower petals, she began grabbing handfuls to toss about. SO precious. And the dress I had made her totally coordinated with the bridal party, so that made me happy. whew.
All through the day, the joy was evident in every detail, in every face. In a word, it was perfect.
We couldn't have done it without you! WLYSVVVM!!
