January Fabric Usage

So yeah, not sure what to say about fabric usage last month. Because I had to research fabric for the Pantone Colors of the Year, right? AND I won a gift certificate to Alison Glass' shop, so of course I had to spend it, thus two yards of that lovely Kaleidoscope came in (shown). And then for some reason, even tho I had several small project finishes, they didn't add up to much stash. It is what it is.

January Fabric Usage
Used up: 7.8 yards
Brought in: 5.5 yards
Net: -2.3 yards
Year to date: -2.3 yards

It's almost laughable, and why not. I predict next month won't be much better, with some QuiltCon Together class supplies on the docket. But I'm confident over the course of the next few months, I can make it up. I'm sure of it.

  1. That's still more used than brought in, which is great in my view!

  2. I like the yellow and berry fabric together.
That's an interesting concept, negative yardage usage, do we put our lab coats on yet?

  3. Love the equation ... will be interesting to see how it progresses over the year. I think I might try it too!
