The Scrap Basket 2024 Top 10

It's always interesting to peruse the "Worth A Read" sections of this year's The Scrap Basket newsletters and see what really resonated with folks. All the Dropcloth Samplers 2024

It's been four years now that I've been stitching along on Dropcloth @dropcloth samplers, and I still enjoy it very much. New in 2024 was the beginning of a series of small Floral Stitches samplers, and those will continue into 2025, 12 in total. This year I also made just a couple of the stitched samplers into usable items, but as always, the stitching is the real goal. Anyway, here are the samplers I stitched this year:

Spring Fling

I actually made Spring Fling and Milky Way into 'table toppers' or whatever, by backing and binding them with a coordinating fabric. This tutorial reminded me how to finish those mitered corners nicely. Unfortunately I wrapped Milky Way before I thought to snap a photo, but you get the idea.

Gotta say, I'll be sorry when that Floral Stitches sampler series comes to an end. I've really enjoyed them! In fact I'm working on one now....
