February FAITH
It's my turn to plan the next quilt for the FAITH Circle of do.Good Stitches! I'd had several ideas in mind, but when I saw the January block for Gen X Quilter's Vice Versa BOM, I knew I'd found 'IT.'
Of course, deciding on a palette is always another issue, and after considering several, I settled on this one . . .
A pale gray background (mine is Kona Ash), a dark gray center (shown is Kona Coal), chartreuse and aqua/teal.
I really like these blocks and think the 'vice versa' is such a clever idea. Can't wait to see what my bee-mates do with them!

I love this block (or blocks) too! It is such a clever idea! And the colour palette is reminiscent of our sand and sea!
ReplyDeleteFun block, beautiful colors!
ReplyDeleteohhhhh those colors! fabulous!
ReplyDeleteI love your colors!
ReplyDeleteAnd I was thinking of doing the same thing for my Do Good Stitches Bee -- only I'm not the quilter until March!
Lovely blocks. I like the reverse effect, the quilt will be really fun too.
ReplyDeleteI love chartreuse! It's one of my favortie colors but so often seems to be misunderstood.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun color scheme. Can't wait to see what the final quilt looks like.
Wonderful, I love these! And I also think the vice versa idea is very clever. :)
ReplyDeleteI love the color scheme you chose. The pattern is perfect. I can't to see how this one plays out.

ReplyDeleteThis will be fun Deb! I love the color scheme ;o)
ReplyDeleteBright and fun colours! Looks pretty easy to make two at the same time too.
ReplyDeleteNice colors!
ReplyDeleteLike everyone else, I think the vice versa is terrific. It is the four colors that really make it--in the olden days I think they did reversals, but it was on two color quilts.
ReplyDeleteYou ended up with good colors from the photo. I tried one of those sites once and it missed the color I'd have used as accent. But generally they reveal colors I'd not have noticed was there.
LOVE the color palette and those blocks are just fabulous!
ReplyDeleteYour blocks look wonderful Debbie! Thank you so much for choosing the Vice Versa block for this special project. AM
