Fresh Sewing Day

Fresh Sewing Day came along right on time - and in fact, perfect timing for me. After a week's vacation, I have little new to show from the sewing room. But looking past through the whole month, things don't look half bad.

There were the normal variety of bee blocks, quite the assortment of pincushions, and an array of other littles. And one quilt, my 5th quilt finish for 2013. "Common Affection" was quite the interesting process, as I was accompanied and supported by my bee-mates and Instagram followers. That made it quite delightful indeed.

Linking up with Fresh Sewing Day.

  3. What a lovely picture show.
Everything looks so nice. I especially love the nametag. I have no use for a nametag but am thinking this idea would make great mug rug gifts for friends. Only if it is OK to use your idea that is?

  6. April was mighty good to you. Love those pin cushions and of course your Common Affection quilt - especially this shot of it with the background wall. I feel so lazy still shooting on my front porch!

  13. 5th finish! You put me to shame Debbie. Is there anything special about making a quilted mouse pad? I love the idea. Does it work well? I simply cannot use my laptop without a mouse.
