W.i.P. Wednesday

Honestly, the last week in the sewing room has been all about getting the two projects below ready to take to our guild meeting Monday night. Mission accomplished. Now time to move ahead on that wip list!

Completed projects
Lucky Stars/SMQG star challenge quilt - I shared all about this finish from my FAL Q2 list here.

To Boston With Love flag - This joined others from the SMQG and will be traveling to Boston to be included in an exhibit in the Museum of Fine Arts May 23-June 16. The heart pattern is by house of krom.

Ongoing projects
Polaroid quilt with the help of the Always Bee Learning Bee - I have four blocks total so far! In person, this is looking really promising!

x and + blocks {#xplusalong} - Just 20 more blocks to go! Still.

City Sampler Quilt Along - I've prepped a couple of blocks in anticipation for the start of the quilt along that begins May 20. It may not be feasible to really follow along, considering all I've got going on, but I'm going to dabble with it, following the book's color scheme for the Gridlock quilt. I have very little of Tula Pink's fabric in my stash, so picked up a charm pack of "Prince Charming" to incorporate as I can.

May bee blocks - In progress!

Upcoming projects
* pillows for Mom/pillow for grandgirl
* mail bag
* scrappy triangle quilt
* mouse mat tutorial

Linking up with W.i.P. Wednesday.

  1. I love your flag! I can't wait to see photos of the display.

  2. Oh the polaroid blocks look fantastic!

  3. It all looks great Debbie. The polaroid blocks look awesome with the varied black/white print backgrounds.

  4. These all look amazing (as usual)! Love to see what you're working on and what you're planning :-)

  5. That first photo looked like a tricky shot, getting both sides of the quilt to show at once! Windy day? :) Lovely quilt!

  6. Nice work! I really love the polaroid blocks, they look awesome. I love the darker colors that you used for the background, it really makes the "photos" stand out. Looks like a fun quilt to make. I will have to put that on my looong to-do list.

  7. Love your finished projects from this week, and those polaroids are looking fab!

  8. You amaze me with your productivity Debbie! The Polaroid blocks are brilliant!

  9. I love the polariod blocks - it is already looking amazing.

  10. Just love your lucky stars quilt - the blocks are so beautiful against the pretty blues. The polaroid blocks are looking good too.

  11. I just ordered the Tula Pink book, so I should have it next week, I want to participate in that one too!

  12. Your poloraid quilt is adorable!

  13. Wow, I love how you used black and white prints on your Polaroids! That might be the motivation I need to pull out my stack. Thanks!
