50!

I often think of Jane Eyre as I begin a new post. In this classic novel by English writer Charlotte Bronte, Jane addresses us with "Dear Reader."

Well, dear reader, overnight I reached 50 followers! (Billy Button Design from Ireland - welcome!) I definitely think a celebration is in order, and wouldn't you know, I have one planned! Early last week, I emailed Kathy from Pink Chalk Fabrics, and asked her what the 'most desired/popular' cotton quilting fabric was in her shop right now. Her answer? "That's a tough question because it changes every week here!  Popular collections for us this summer include Valori Wells Wrenly, Heather Ross Far Far Away III, Cloud9 Organics Miscellany, and Erin McMorris Summersault." I'm telling you so you know and can check them out for yourselves, if you like. Anyway, I chose to purchase a fat-quarter pack of Erin McMorris Summersault Lake as a give-away to celebrate reaching 50 followers!

    I just turned 50 too so "happy blog follower day" there I made that up. I thought I would never make it and was broken to almost begging. I wonder if the $50 in store credit voucher had anything to do with it? Nah, my followers gnome and love me I just added myself to your list of followers. :)
