W.i.P. Wednesday

I don't have much to show this week for W.i.P. Wednesday.  O motivation, where are you?

Completed projects
Zakka Style Sew-Along project #14: Water Bottle Holder {full post}

Tutorial for pieced binding - I've been meaning to write this for ages. So now the secret's out about how easy it really is!

Ongoing projects
4x5 Quilt - Just finished sewing the top together - whew! I wasn't going to put a border on this one, but once the framing was done, well it just needed it. And now it's bigger than I anticipated, and you know what that means - pieced back! Love them, but don't like making them, especially on larger projects, but oh well. That's what needs to happen next.

Baby quilt - I'm revisiting the Storytime Squares Quilt pattern that I made for 100 Quilts for Kids last year {here}. By Rae Hoekstra of made by RAE, I remember this being a fun little quilt to stitch up. I'm pleased to have found a couple of charm packs of Marmalade by Bonnie & Camille, which it just what a certain baby's mama ordered. I've got the layout settled, now just need to start sewing.

Upcoming projects
* more Zakka
* QWERTY variation
* a quilt to coordinate with my Christmas tree skirt - Christmas in July??
* scrappy Metrolink
* Plus quilt for my sister-in-law
* Always Bee Learning July block
* EZ Dresden Challenge project - maybe??
* FAITH Circle July blocks NEW
* 100 Quilts quilt to donate NEW

Linking up with W.i.P. Wednesday where Jess of SewCraftyJess is hosting today.

  8. I love the little charm quilt - I'd forgotten about that pattern but it is SO sweet! Good luck with the pieced back - I love them, too, but so hate making them. It takes all the triumph out of finishing a quilt top, to know that you still have to piece the back!
