Fresh Sewing Day

Fresh Sewing Day kind of sneaks up on you sometimes, doesn't it? Honestly, I was a little scared to look back and see what I had actually finished!

But I did have a full month of bee and Lucky Star blocks.
And I was thankful to find several littles . . . moving clockwise below . . . another Triple-Zip Pouch, a kindle cover, a Zakka style frame purse, and the Quiet Book I was making grandgirl for Christmas, but just finished this week.
And then there was Binary, my one quilt finish for the month.
It took a while to get going again after the holidays, but I finally feel like I'm back in the swing of things!

Linking up with Fresh Sewing Day.

  6. Nice month!

Hey, a question, when you quilted your binary quilt (or any other straight lined quilt) do you alternate the direction that you do the lines? Meaning, start from the top on one line, then start from the bottom on the next? I'm doing straight lines on my Brrr quilt and have been trying to alternate directions but it is SO hard to stuff all the bulk through when going in the one direction. Ugh. I do feel like it makes a difference though so I might persevere.

  16. That is a great looking quilt - is it folded over, and it is quilt size? Or is it more a table runner/ wall hanging? I love the different greys with the pops of colors.
