I'm not one to make the same thing over and over, so this was a tough question! This paper pieced alphabet pattern http://www.craftsy.com/pattern/quilting/other/just-my-type-lowercase-alphabet-/45056 has come in useful for quilting and I'm sure I'll use it over and over.

ReplyDeletemy go to pattern was found on the OH Fransson blog, the new wave quilt - have made this up in soft colors for babies, bright colors for toddlers, and neutral and bold browns for male lapquilts - the pattern is easy to work with and I love the finish.

While I revisit Craftsy classes from time to time, I tend to view a specific project tutorial enough times to finish my project and then... off to the next thing... so I don't have enough revisiting to draw from. Most recently it's been tutorials for curtains, simple w/clip on rings and also for grommet tops [which I haven't done yet so I will go back] which is at The Shabby Creek Cottage. Most often I pin tutorials for later use so I can find stuff I love without searching the entire web again.

ReplyDeleteI've made about 5 pairs of skinny jeans for my daughter, and about 6 sets of winter pajamas for my kids. I'm on my 4th raglan tee, and have about 5 more planned.. as well as more adventure tees.

I don't quilt, yet. I've only been sewing for a year and started with clothes for my toddler. I've used the basic pants from danamadeit.com more than half a dozen times for pants, pajamas and bloomers.
