W.i.P. Wednesday

This week's W.i.P. Wednesday post will hopefully help keep me organized through the month. Four of the "ongoing projects" really need to be finished before July's end, and as always, there's likely to be several "littles" thrown in the mix.

Completed projects
x and + quilt {#xplusalong- This quilt, which I named "Crossex," is my pride and joy for the month so far. See it up close and personal by clicking this link!

Patchwork, Please - So far I've been keeping up with the sew along, the latest projects being an apron, a placemat, and a bib, all with my own tweaks. All my zakka 2.0 projects can be found in this flickr set.

Arbitrary Blocks - June's Lucky Star, a couple charity blocks, and a modern block for a SMQG/Clothworks challenge - they're all right here.

Ongoing projects
City Sampler Quilt Along - I'm thoroughly enjoying these little blocks and hope to get started on this week's set soon. I'm also really hoping to get ahead on my cutting this weekend, so the next few weeks' blocks are super quick.

Flower Girl dress for grandgirl - the prototype has been stitched, and I now have the 'real' fabric - ivory batiste and coral dupiani silk. This is top priority. Like 22 days and counting.

July bee blocks - I'm 3/4 done and dreading the last (paper-pieced) one.

Faith Circle Starburst Cross Quilt - I made the last block needed and am now ready to piece the top together. Debating this layout . . .

That Stash Bee Quilt - It's in line after the Faith Circle quilt, which really means mid-August. But to get psyched and have some company, I started a flickr group, Falling for Modern Maples. If you are making, want to make, or even made a Modern Maples quilt, please do join in. My personal goal is to have mine finished by September 22, the beginning of fall where I live.

Polaroid Quilt & Improv Slice and Insert Quilt - no progress and both are gonna set for a bit.

Upcoming projects
Patchwork, Please! sew along projects, including another placemat
* July's Lucky Star
* prepping more City Sampler blocks
* pillows for Mom
* dolly quilt for grandgirl
* mail bag
* quilt(s) for 100 Quilts for Kids charity quilt drive
